I bought one but it's still like a week out, and I'd like to get the tires changed out before then. They look like this, and mine needs to be either 24mm or 15/16". I'll pay you with a beer. Thanks!

Try using a spark plug socket. Put it on an extension backwards. If it dont work I have the tool.

I appreciate the offer, but I'm in Colorado Springs and don't think I'll be in the DM area anytime soon. Sent you a PM BadR6Man!
Demonrider, I ordered mine off Amazon, it was like $16. But they're on ebay for like $10 new. I just have an Amazon gift card, and figured it'd get here quicker. It won't. Don't buy it from Amazon, the company sucks at shipping things.
Go to homedepot or napa and buy a 24mm bolt with 2 nuts and some blue locktight. Crank the two nuts onto eachother (with Loctite as well) about an inch from the bolt head. Leave to dry. Bam! Axle nut tool! Works like a charm and was like 3 bucks lol.

You can borrow mine if you want.
PM incoming with my number.

We tried this. A 5/8" bolt has a 15/16" head, which fit well. Two huge nuts on it, and we went to town. It didn't budge. Drano and I, neither of us small by means, put nearly everything we had into it. Had we used any more force we would've broken the bolt. I'm thinking Davis Service Center in Montrose, the last ones to touch it, torqued the every living shit out of it to prevent liability.
I have a couple of the hex tools available for sale...and I ship UPS daily!
Thanks, Jim

PRIME for $16... http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You blamed Amazon for not shipping it fast enough... but it was really a 3rd party. You sound like a cop.

Unfortunately I didn't see that one, as I try to stick with Prime stuff.
I actually didnt, I was pretty open with it being a 3rd party. When I said the company didn't ship it fast enough, I meant the 3rd party. It did come across as me blaming Amazon. However, Amazon still endorses the 3rd party, and as such the 3rd party has certain responsibilities. And I'm sure this fits within them, but I'm still not happy, 5 days to put a tool in a box and print a label is unreasonable to me. Like Tfog said, he would've had it out that day, and I don't buy any excuse not to have it out that quick.
I've been extremely happy with Amazon themselves, that's why I pay for Prime. It's their 3rd parties I've been disappointed with.
So on a side note, may I also borrow this tool? Lol. I was using the backwards spark plug socket and it always got stuck!

When I get mine in you're more than welcome to!
my .02 cents on Amazon. Dude they really do ship things out very fast. Even Amazon LLC ships quick without using Prime. I ordered both Faster and Fastest on a Thursday and received them the next day and that was without Prime. Also most 3rd party companies are quick. Honestly 5 day shipping isn't that bad. When you realize you aren't their only customer and they possibly are shipping hundreds of parts out, I'd say be a little patient. Everything I've ever bought from a third party has arrived within 5-10 days and the only exception was my Casey Stoner book Pushing The Limits. I had to import it from Australia via a 3rd party and it took about 4 weeks. Was I pissed? not really. I assumed it would take a long time. My only issue was they used DHL, which are notoriously slow. Had it come FedEx I would have gotten it in half the time.

It's not just that it's 5-day shipping, it's a 5 day waiting period before they even ship it. And then they ship it 5-day. So 10 total. I understand they have a lot of orders, but so does Amazon.

I got my brake pads in 2 days with normal shipping. There's no way that tiny thing takes 10 days lol. I just use one of 3/8 inch hexes from my set I got from harbor freight and works perfectly for the front axle removal.
