I Dont know if some of the bands are Hot Topic style. Every time I'm in that store its more punk rock. Dimmu Borgir is definitely not punk, that's Norwegian Black Metal which is pretty hardcore and damn near devil worshiping if you listen to the lyrics(and can actually understand them), same with Behemoth out of Poland that's another death metal band I like and most if the lyrics are devil worship and hard to understand but I mainly enjoy the double kick drums and fast guitar riffs and the speed of everything.
When I ride my bike I have a Sena headset and I Bluetooth metal into my helmet and that's what gets me pumped up when. Riding, I'll usually bang the clip on bars during some good drum beats, not in the canyons tho
