After the season and performance he has put up, I was expecting it. I'm sure he'll do great and mainly if Yamaha is able to come up with the power they need and whatever other areas of improvement. Great news indeed and happy for the doc, he has earned it... wonder if they'll keep Lorenzo or approach a Moto2/open class rider

Lorenzo has taken a backseat this year. Rossi is doing great. If Yamaha went for anyone in Moto2 I'd like to see Vinales, that guy is a beast. I really like Corsi and Kallio but Kallio had a stint in MotoGP and it didnt work so well and Corsi doesnt have the endurance to hold out for a full race or else he could be at/near the top in Moto2

I know Biaggi was a whiner and sometimes a very cheap rider , but you have to admit, he could ride with the best of them. When he rode in WSB, he did very well. But I agree, stay retired.
Glad to see Dani sign with HRC again. I really like him. I hope Yamaha can get some more power next year. I would love to see Rossi win another championship.
With the pace that Marquez is setting it'll be difficult for anyone and Rossi to win another title but well anything can happen and he's having a tremendous season unlike Lorenzo... Biaggi is currently testing for Aprilia since they're set to come back in 2016 to MotoGP. Pedrosa is a good rider and sure hope he can at least get one title before calling it.

Yea, Suzuki is well on their way for sure. They seem to be making good progress on the electronics and such. Their test times have been close to the other factory teams. Aleix Espargaro is doing great too on that open Yamaha, wouldn't surprise me if Suzuki offered him a seat along with DePuniet. Suzuki is supposed to come in next year from what I heard and not 16'

I REALLY hope they don't give De Puniet a seat. That guy is a crash test dummy.
I'm assuming he'll get a seat since he's testing but not sure though. I'm sure they'll start talking contracts at the end of this season and what not.

My hope would be seeing Eugene Laverty get a seat on the GP bike. But who knows if he'll ever make the move up from SBK.

I would also like to see Kawasaki make a comeback soon.
Kawasaki has basically said they'll never return. Though with all these other manufactures looking to make comebacks. I'd like to see Kawasaki make i happen and comeback. I think the more manufactures the better off the grid would be. At least with more manufactures it might go back to the old days of the 990 era, where there were tons of different bikes, riders and manufactures in the championship. Yeah the top guys usually won the most races and the championships. But when was the last time we actually saw a Satellite bike actually provide a dominant performance(and no I don't think E. Espargaro is putting in a dominant show) the way Sete Gibernau, Barros and Melandri used too.
I mean as much as I'm getting a kick seeing history being made with Marquez, I'd be even more excited to see many different guys mixing it up and wins going to different guys every week. Even when Rossi won 11 races back in 2005(and I enjoyed it very much), I remember thinking, "geez, can't someone else win." Either way, more manufactures and riders is always better. I think that's what has always made WSBK appealing and exciting. Lots of different bikes and riders all mixing it up. Many kinds of winners and it's always good racing. I just hope the rest of the MotoGP season just keeps getting better and better.

Exactly!! Look ate Shane Byrne in British Superbike, ranked #1, riding a Kawasaki. I love to watch Marquez ride, but the more the other riders push, he rides harder. Either way, this has been an exciting year of racing. Isle of Man was awesome to watch as well. Absolutely Crazy Asses.
I guess Aprilia wants to enter next season alongside Suzuki after all, http://www.motogp.com/en/news/2014/M...+with+Bautista
