I'm going down for the Aug 24th and maybe the 25th. Depends on how tired I am. Track days can be intense. Any suggestions where to stay overnight with my SUV and open trailer? Thanks. Dan
BUMP this one. I am going to the one This coming Monday the 25th with Generic trailoring down.

Went on Monday the 25th, thank you for the trailer down there Generic! Excellent class, there was lot of great things pointed out by Nick in our one on one time. I feel I have a better understtanding of the capabilities of my bike and I should not be so affraid of using the brake when needed.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try and go to the class and learn, they also just added 6 more dates (all Saturdays) so that should make it better for anyone wanting to attend and not have to take the time off work! One thing that was cool is after the class was over Nick and Luis the other coach invited everyone out to dinner, which would give you more time to talk and hang with them and get pointersd and advice, so if you end up able to stay you could get that added benefit!

New Saturday dates: September 6th and 27th, October 18th and 25th, November 1st and 15th
I think I will try to go back down there again to one of those and would make a great ride down there during the morning (hit some canyons along the way) and then ride back or stay the night.

Signing up for the 6th....
Nick wasn't at my class. But no other students showed up either.
Ray is great. I can't really complain about three hours of one on one work.
Ha.
I'm going to go again. Soonish.
I'm probably going to sign up for the 27th. Any issue riding down and back or were you drained from the class?

I used a trailer..... The suck factor riding from Pueblo to Arvada (where I live) would be quite high. I was pretty tired as it was and made it home around 11 after stopping for dinner. Go with a buddy, borrow a trailer or stay the night for a track day the next day, full lapping day $100 with the card they give you.....
The class does start at 4 but confirm it with them. On pmp website it says 5.....
I used to ride Britney to track days all the time Kyle and while yes, it does exhaust you to be done with it and then have to make ride home, it's still totally doable. Plus you have a bike that's suited for those wind-down miles and you're already an established "long haul" guy.

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move its in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

So there is a class on the 27th...
They added 6 new days, 2 in September 2 in October and 2 all the way into November. I will try to go down again as well since they added them as Saturday dates.

I am hoping the November dates will have a class start time of noon, during the warmest part of the day....I am planning on going then....cant wait....
I know he did say that the September classes would be 4-7pm, I would imagine as they get closer they will probably do 12-3pm for the November ones

I'm assuming these Sunset Safety Clinics are all done until late spring/early summer 2015?
