Colorado Powersports is taking over Thunder Valley MX track for a day in the dirt! Join CPS staff and Team CPS Racers on August 28th for a fun day of riding and instruction. Need some help? Want to work on something? All of our racers will be happy to watch you ride and show you how you can improve your skills.
    Cost: $10, no membership required.

    I'll be there between 10 and 11.

I wish I would have known earlier.

Re: Dirt Day at Thunder Valley

I found out about it the night before. They do this twice a year. You can sign up for email alerts at http://www.copowersports.com/

They also do a snowmobile demo.

There were a dozen or so expert riders for about 40 of us. We split into groups and worked on starts, braking, corners, jumps, body position, etc. It was really helpful to have someone watch, give feedback and ride each section over and over. At 3 they turned us loose for open riding. Great deal for $10...even included lunch.

This was the first time I’ve ridden Thunder Valley, and I found it to be much more challenging than Watkins.
