and if your looking for a great beginner bike an xr 400 would do you solid man. plenty of power, forgiving suspesion and BULLETPROOF motors, all around perfect trail bike. i had an 01 with nothing modified expept a rear cargo rack, full fmf exhaust and a k&n air filter and it ran KICKASS.

Yep 9v.. I'm not sure a 400 would suit me.. I'm not a heavy guy 145 lbs but 6foot 3

dude for a bigger bike they are quite nimble. i was only like 511 and 150 when i got mine lmao

CC's in different bikes are not all equal. XR400 is almost the same as a DRZ400 which is not a powerful bike at all, probably around mid 30 for HP. 450 YZF or CRF are pushing 50 HP.

well being a honda afficianado, i would go for a xr400. dont know anything about the 426 motor(yamaha)
