Looking for suggestions on a chain tool. I've got a 525 on my bike I need to break and replace with a riveted link. Is it a waste of money to go with a kit >$100?

I'd like to get one to have. Something I can take with me as part of my long distance tool kit.
Its been asked a million times. I lent my DID one out and never got it back ended up with one from Harbor Freight and it has held up pretty well. The key to using a cheap one is to make sure you pack it with grease every time.
Sure the DID works really well but if its just for occasional use (one or two times every year) then its worth its weight in gold. Last I checked they were $10!
I have been using c-clip chains without fail. ymmv

"...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

I have motion Pro picked it up for about $100 bucks. I've used it about a dozen times and it works great.
