Thanks Scott for organizing this weekend and thanks to everyone who worked it! Aaron and I had a great time and got a lot of riding Sat/Sun. Excellent event.

We'll see you at PPIR in October for sure, maybe sooner if we have time to run down to Pueblo during the week.

PS BBQ was delishious. Glad to hear the good news about the track and the future of bikes.

Re: Chicane Trackdays: Labor Day Track Extravaganza!

We had an outstanding weekend. Just a few gusts of wind, but otherwise perfect weather, great company and a safe weekend!

I have to say thanks to a bunch of people that made this happen:

Ralph and the whole corner crew:

You guys and gals do amazing work and I'm proud that you represent me and my efforts so well. THANK YOU!

    Joe, Sasha and Troy:

Thank you for your efforts to instruct our new riders! Both our regular students and the ladies that attended the ladies only session on Monday were very impressed. This kind of quality introduction to the sport is what all riders should get.

    Some business sponsors:

    Rebellion Motorsports
    Vanmar Racing
    Single Track Mind
    XBAM
    Pueblo Motorsports Park
    Western Ambulance

These people make our events much better! Thank you to all of them!

Finally we got some excellent news while we were at the track! Earlene is going to be staying at PMP! Darrel Contrarez came to our "going away" party on Sunday night to annouce that we needed to change the scope of the event to a "Welcome Back!" party. Earlene will still be managing the track and getting some much needed help as Pueblo looks to the future and sees motorcycles as an extremely valuable part of their operation.

Thank you to everyone who came and rode. I'm glad to read that you had a good time and I look forward to seeing you at our next event!

Speaking of the next event: Chicane Trackdays will be hosting an event marking the return of Motorcycles to PPIR. On Sunday, October 5th we will be having a full trackday on the road course at PPIR. This event will be geared to experienced trackday riders and racers. Cost will be $200 per rider with an 80 rider limit. More information and registration information coming soon!

Big thanks to SCOTT for hooking this up. As well as all the corner workers and ambulance crews and everyone else that volunteered or otherwise helped out. You all rock and make club track days amazing events.

Thanks to Mark at Vanmar for talking tires with us and for doing a late night change on Sunday night!

I had a great time, only wish I could have spent more time on the track. My bike had so much fun there's funny noises coming out of the rear axle.

Ok, I'm being really emo that i didn't have the funds to come out for this. Does anyone have pictures, video or anything so that I can live vicariously through you?

Keep us posted on upcoming track days...I'd love to try and make the next one....if there is one.

It was a great weekend with absolutely amazing people.

I am totally worn out in the best way possible. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

It was great to see everyone and also to meet some new people.

    Thank you to everyone.

Probably the most fun I've had with my pant on.
Thank you Scott, Ralph, all the safety workers, and all the other riders, for making it such a great weekend.

+1 with Sean on thanks to our shadey crew of miscreant campers (even Stewie).

And all the others folks: Terri, Joe, Sheila (and crew), Brian, Peter, Jorge, Bueller, Eldin&Jen, K&D, The Bashes, Marc,
Wyeth&Aaron, and dozens of other folks for making the off track time as much fun as the actual riding.

They were Joe's shorts. He wore them that night and he looked FABULOUS!!!!!

Did Eldin ever get off that damn scooter or did he just sit on it in the truck bed and have you drive home?
