Nice Fall colors, Dirk. Did you find that place along P2P? If I had a dual-sport, there's some pretty cool ghost towns out in them thar hills I'd like to explore and take some photos of. In the meantime, I played around a little bit with my outdated PhotoChop with this photo of the bridge along Battle Mountain Rd...this little road goes into Redcliffe...

...ready to take on the world...one canyon at a time...

Yep, just north of the Long's Peak area.

The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Cool! It's pretty nice when you don't have to go too far around here to see that kind of scenery.

Not mine, but a nice shot of a VF1000R in the Springs area:

I passed up getting a 1986 1000R. That pic makes me wish I had bought the bike.

Yeah, "Wow!" is the response "The Mutant" gets. That's a heavily modified 1000R built by Tom Westby down in the Springs. For comparison, here is my nearly pristine, completely stock version (and keeping with the scenic view theme of the thread):

I agree! And that area has to look amazing during a real colorful sunset too. What an amazing state we live in...
