SOB was .10 of a second faster than me that race : P I held that record for one lap, then he beat me by .10 the very next lap. lucky SOB.

Heal up fast ara, we need to do some track days this winter.

him and doug khal made contact coming into turn 1. Ara taking the outside line(hugging the cones), Doug taking the inside line. they met eachother and hit the pavement. it was purely no ones fault, just racing. it happens and im glad that both of them didnt get hurt any worse.

ara is a little banged up and doug is fine.
im sure he will post here if he wants to give any details

So what was the record. I'm curious because my best was 1:00:04 way back in 2004.

I believe at that time the AMA qualifying time for PPIR was 1:02

Dean- back in '04 the qualifying cutoff was at 112% of the polesitter. They have since lowered it to 108% in superbike and 110% in the other classes (which are no more after this season). It would have taken a :59 to get on the superbike grid but the other classes would be around the 1:02.
