Thumbs up ACES Cycles in Windsor!!

Hey all, just wanted to let everyone know about a positive experience with a dealer - ACES Cycles. I bought a new street bike from them today and couldn't be happier.

They've been around for quite a while, owned and operated by the Dimick family who have been involved in the Colorado motorcycle scene (roadracing, dirt, super-moto, x-games, PPIHC, etc) for at least the last three decades. Buck is the man in the back turning the wrenches and he's been turning out fast and dependable street, roadracing and dirt bikes for longer than I've been breathing.

It's a no-frills operation, but as you know frills are expensive. There are never any dealer handling fees, set up fees, advertising fees or any other bullshit. You negotiate a price, add the tax and you're out the door. It's that simple. The prices are low and the people are great.

The majority of their advertising is on craigslist, the best way to see their inventory is to search CL for their phone number 970-223-1203.

Go see 'em, you won't regret it!

Re: ACES Cycles in Windsor!!

Don't crucify me, but it wasn't a sportbike Spending summers at HPR and going back and forth to Denver on the R1 was getting a little old (it's for sale HERE) so I've been looking for something a bit more comfy on the highway. Most of the cruiser style bikes I've looked at were nice enough, but sorely lacking in the "go" department. I discovered the Yamaha Warrior, which essentially set the standard for the "Sport Cruiser" category. 17" wheels, R1 forks and brakes, and a 1700+cc v-twin that clears 100lb-ft of torque with a PCIII and exhaust I figured that would work so I started looking for one.

Looked at several but settled on this one at ACES:

Comparing to other Warriors for sale in Colorado and factoring in model years, condition, accessories, etc, I would estimate their asking price was about $750 below the rest of the market. And, as I said before, they don't try to make up the difference with a bunch of bullshit charges.

If they have something you want, they're the place to go.

Re: ACES Cycles in Windsor!!

hey GECCO, great looking bike! I'm actually quite familiar with the warrior myself....

absolutely LOVED them. handles AWESOME, i used to keep up with most of the sport bike riders i ran around with on the street. great red light to red light bike. on my silver '03 i ran a best of 12.45 @ 102... BONE STOCK... easily an 11second bike with a few mods. some day I'll buy another one. what did you pay for yours if you don't mind me asking? any mods besides the pipes and filter?

Re: ACES Cycles in Windsor!!

Always loved those warriors.... Test rode one at a bike week in the south and the motor was bad-azzzzz. I'd have one too if I could.

Re: ACES Cycles in Windsor!!

Also..... I know their kids, and if kids are a reflection of how they were raised then these are VERY upstanding folks. It's a wonderful family, I hope their business makes it.
