Site Slowness Only A Problem In Google Chrome

In case you haven't read or heard about it yet, some people have been experiencing extremely slow response times when accessing the CSC since the server upgrade July 18th. This may seem intermittent (ie: doesn't happen every time you click a link), it may take upwards of 20 seconds for a page to load, and sometimes clicking the link a second time gets it to load right away.

The problem has been isolated to Google Chrome, specifically, how Chrome tries to predict network actions to improve page load performance.

If you are experiencing problems accessing the CSC using Chrome, and you don't want to use a different browser, you can fix the problem by following these steps:

1. Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
2. Select Options.
3. Click the Under the Hood tab.
4. In the "Privacy" section, deselect "Predict network actions to improve page load performance."
5. Click Close.
