Just registered or changed your email address & can't post?

Here is the original description of the problem:
Quote:
Users with @comcast.net and @aol.com email addresses are not currently receiving emails from the forum. For some people it's merely the inconvenience of not receiving an email that they have a new PM or there's a new reply to a thread they're subscribed to, but for new members, or someone who just changed their email address to one of those, they are unable to post because they never received the confirmation email with the link to validate their account.

This started in late July 2011, when the forum was moved to a new server. We found out about it mid-August, but it hasn't been fixed yet. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The registration screen has been modified to warn AOL and Comcast users, but I recently discovered this problem is not limited to just them.
  • If you are about to register with an AOL or Comcast email address, and can use a different email address* to do so, that would be the quickest and easiest way to get things done.
  • If you registered with an AOL or Comcast email address, or you did not receive the activation email with a link to confirm your new account (it may have gone to your Junk folder), and are unable to post, you should edit your profile and use a different email address*.
  • If you changed your email address to an AOL or Comcast email address, or you did not receive the activation email with a link to confirm the email address change (it may have gone to your Junk folder), and are unable to post, you should edit your profile and use a different email address*.
*There is no guarantee that using a different email address will resolve the problem, so if the symptoms described above persist, or if you do not have another email address you can use, send me a PM, or email me at cosportbikeclub@hotmail.com, and I can activate your account manually.

If you recently registered, and confirmed your account via the link in the activation email, but you are unable to post, your account is awaiting moderation by one of the administrators. This is a manual process that is required because we get so many spammers who try and join, that we have to go through each new member one by one. Since the club is run by volunteers who have lives outside the club, it can sometimes take up to a few days before new accounts get reviewed. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. You'll receive an email when your account gets validated.
