Spaghetti Benefit - Greg Golden, hit and run rider

So, does anyone know this rider? I saw the story on CBS4 this morning and felt for him and his wife struggling to pay their bills and get him healed since the accident on May 2nd.

The insurance plans on paying only 80% and his portion of the bills will amount to over $100K.

You can barely make out what the sportbike even looked like and the poor guy was a victim of a bad hit and run.

Next Sunday afternoon? I'm down. The Copper Rail Bar & Grill: http://www.copperrail.com/

Here's the map. Looks like it might be a cool little ride N.E. from Thornton, going by all those ponds...

Re: Spaghetti Benefit - Greg Golden, hit and run rider

Could this somehow get linked in with the 5th Annual North meets South meet and greet (http://www.cosportbikeclub.org/forum....php?t=46138)? I would love to participate in both. Perhaps do the spaghetti lunch and then push the Meet & greet back to 5 or 6?
PLEASE

I rarely think of motorcycles without a little yearning. They are about moving, and humans, I think, yearn to move – it’s in our cells, in our desires. We quiet our babies with cyclic movement, and we quiet ourselves by going.

Re: Spaghetti Benefit - Greg Golden, hit and run rider

I noticed the news article says 1 to 3, we have flyers here and they say 1 to 6. I don't know how big the Copper Rail is, but I suspect they got a great response. If I am correct that is great news! I will be there

Re: Spaghetti Benefit - Greg Golden, hit and run rider

It's a pretty large place, so they can handle a rather large crowd, if need be. I'll be doing the North/south ride, otherwise I'd probably head over there.

Re: Spaghetti Benefit - Greg Golden, hit and run rider

Ok... Since we can't change the time for the meet & greet at Marion's in Idaho Springs, I contacted Copper Rail about the benefit. The spaghetti benefit is actually running until 6pm, so we can still swing by the place to help out & hang out after 3pm. I was thinking anyone from the meet and greet who wanted to participate could just ride down to Copper Rail with me after we finish up at Marion's, get some spaghetti, and still be able to help Greg Golden out.
