Yes, but narrower road than the others, so speed reduction is important. Also, the community near the top is very bicycle friendly, so you don't want to go speeding through there.

Technical too. Lots of turns are decreasing radius, blind turns. You cant see the decrease until its already too late to adjust. Can really catch you off guard if you don't know the route. Almost lost a friend up there once.

Yeah, either just cruise it the first couple times or have someone you trust take you through there. I will PM you a buddys name/number that has been through there plenty, he also used to live up there at jamestown or whatever its called.

There are a ton of cyclists on Left hand who don't really seem to care if anyone is on the road, but it's not too bad. I do almost the same route except I take broadway/93 south out of boulder to Coal Creek Canyon (alot less traffic) to peak/peak to lefthand to lee hill back to boulder. I was thinking of going reverse this week. Let me know if you want to run it sometime. I'm a newish rider, but I love me some twisties.

I always see a bunch of riders on it, would love to meet up with some.

I ran Canyon Blvd Sunday evening at about 1900 at about 9/10ths. Very little traffic. No law enforcement. Technical. Overall a fantastic run.

Dipped down to blackhawk/central city on my way to the job. Good times.

That's an incredibly fun ride - done it a bunch. The only thing that sucks though is the road coming south out of Blackhawk... fucking old people driving slow... sad because they lost all their monies.
