    Coolant flush

Time for the obligatory coolant replacement before Pueblo on the 17th.

    - What do I need to to to ensure that all the antifreeze is removed?
    - How do I make sure that all the air is out of the system?
    - And what mixture of water wetter : water should I run?

    Here is what I did.
    -Drain the antifreeze and overflow
-Fill it up with water and run it until its up to temp, drain, repeat the process 3-4 times until the water is clear
-Fill it up with Avian (Kawi's require a little more class than a Honda) and about a half bottle of Water Wetter
-Start the bike up, get it to temp and shut if off, open your coolant cap and fill if necessary, also fill up your overflow.

    DONE!

I mix the water and water wetter in gallon jugs before I dump it into the bike. The ratio is on the water wetter bottle, I don't remember what it is exactly.

To get the air out of the system use your hands to squeeze the hoses too and from the radiator to break air bubbles free.

    Evian......spelled backwards = ?

I just use distilled water from the grocery store.... $.79 a gallon.

    Have fun!
