Just another reason why AMA sucks. Rolfo got hurt so Jake Zemke was going to take his place this weekend for the next round of WSB in Italy. However he couldn't get his papers from AMA to clear him.......sad

Jake Zemke will now no longer be replacing Roberto Rolfo on the Hannspree Honda Althea CBR1000RR machine at this weekend's Italian Round of the Superbike World Championship.

The American was due to replace the injured Italian but the last minute nature of his call-up meant that he was unable to get the required authorization through from the AMA federation in time for this weekend's fifth round of the series.

As a result the replacement for Rolfo will now be Giovanni Bussei, who was given the all-clear to race yesterday afternoon following a medical check.
