I have to give Dirk credit, though. He got as little sleep as we did, and he drove the entire 6 hours out here while Jay and I slept on and off throughout the trip.
You guys could have at least drove a little ways...hope your letting Dirk sleep.

Rick forgot the tent so it's a good thing I have a room reserved.

I'm just getting warmed up after 400 miles. Really sucks about you guys getting no practice today. Endurance should give you a good look for the sprint races though.

Jay looked SO AWESOME out there!

It was meant to be to get him through all his trials... he kicked some serious ass on the track!

Re: Woohoo it's official, I'm SlO

Awwww thank you very much, but I realized so many key points that I am missing in my riding, but at least I have many opportunities to further improve myself. I didn't feel like I kicked any ass, in fact, I feel like I just got my ass kicked!!!!!

Best thing was seeing other CSC members out there doing some serious crazy riding and doing well...... Race day is nothing like a regular track day, the intensity is felt just by being there, walking around. Heart pounding like madness when you grid up.

    +1

First time out on a track that he's never been on, and he's doing 40s.
