Two people were taken away in the ambulance. But, yeah, there were a lot of crashes today. I saw a couple of pretty wicked high sides in turn 13. One had the bike going end over end in the air.

Jay had a great ride in Novice O and finished 10th! Not bad at all considering he had only 3 laps of practice beforehand and had never ridden this track. Chris was battling bike issues but still rode well and he had 0 laps of practice before the race. I'm betting they'll both improve considerably tomorrow since both did endurance races today and are starting to get the feel of the track. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow evening.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."
