+1 for Shoe Goo, Denverbusa and Aracheon

So, it seems yearrrrrrs ago, Mark lent Chris and old ass pair of A-Stars for a ride (Chris has now moved up in the world and bought his own foot meats).

Well Chris could not hook up with Mark so the boots ended up on my front porch for yearrrrrs. When I moved I opened the bag they were in and found that the soles were coming off (no wonder Mark never picked them up). I, in need of gear for the road set out to fix them. Yeah Shoe Goo! Me gots a good par of foot meats for the road.

Perhaps I should start a journal: Where in the World are Denverbusa's Boots?

(the names in this story were changed to protect the innocent--not)

I used "Bacon" (see post on bacon) to hold it together until it had cured.

Hell, maybe I'm getting the names mixed up. But it is a good story with a happy ending. Take credit and roll with it for literary embellishment purposes. A good fictional story is better than a shitty non-fictional any day.

    Because I is you.

Mark lent them to me last year for the Total Control class (Thanks Mark, you rock!). Then Pilot took them from me after the class and they have yet to make it back to Mark. At least I got to meet you Mark this last weekend and say thanks. Still owe ya a beer or two.

Yep, now THAT was me. I did leave my toolkit at PMI, which I picked up at your place a few days later.

The best part is that you can tell me all your old stories, again. And again, and again....

I use it in my cooking. I'd have never thought to use it on shoes.
