    Right on! Great job Ara!

The laws of necessity, of self- preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property, and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

    Re: Congrats Ara!

him and doug khal made contact coming into turn 1. Ara taking the outside line(hugging the cones), Doug taking the inside line. they met eachother and hit the pavement. it was purely no ones fault, just racing. it happens and im glad that both of them didnt get hurt any worse.

ara is a little banged up and doug is fine.
im sure he will post here if he wants to give any details

    Re: Congrats Ara!

So what was the record. I'm curious because my best was 1:00:04 way back in 2004.

I believe at that time the AMA qualifying time for PPIR was 1:02

Dean- back in '04 the qualifying cutoff was at 112% of the polesitter. They have since lowered it to 108% in superbike and 110% in the other classes (which are no more after this season). It would have taken a :59 to get on the superbike grid but the other classes would be around the 1:02.

I did read it all, and I did see that, but I meant "Novice" class records for 2005. Sorry.
