I went snowboarding on Sunday and then back home to jump on the bike for a bit ..

Just in case anyone was thinking Squaw pass...

I rode it Sunday and there is a lot of sand in the hairpin corners. There was also a few areas where both lanes were ice. I went from Bergan to Idaho Springs, and the shadows from the trees pretty much cover the other lanes most of the way.

Even if ya gotta go up and down all day long, it's still the most fun road out there.

Thanks Rhino... but I don't even think about Squaw Pass unless it's mid summer (usually)... I know how that road gets with ice, snow run off, sand, shade and their lovely potholes...

59 now on the west side.
