I'm thinking of riding too. Had some things to take care of last weekend so missed out on the longer ride with the North-Central / Northies. But did catch lunch at Blackhawk with them.
There's a coffee shop behind the McDonald's on US287 & Hwy7 (Baseline).. Meet there, kickstands up a 10? A bit later to let any frost up high to melt.

Dont know how far south you plan on going, but Deer Creek Canyon is covered in sand so it would be wise to avoid it.
North Turkey Creek also heavily sanded the other morning. We had lots of ice. Haven't been up Bear Creek yet but I'd expect the same.

Hmmm! I am thinking about this, but I don't know where it is. If I am coming from the DTC on 25, how would I get there?
Patrick, just go up 25 to Hwy 7 (=Baseline, the exit before the one you take to IMI) and go west until you run into 287. The McDonald's is on the NW corner of the intersection.

Good ride! Sand & mag chloride wasn't too bad, couple spots near the usual north facing slopes, 7 was pretty clear and fast as usual. Thanks for picking up lunch Daniel. :thumbsup:
