Nice photos! I went thru Rist this afternoon and over Stove Prairie and there was not much gravel until the very top of Stove Prairie otherwise its water that's crossing the road many in places. The only spot to watch out for is the cattle guards especially the one South of Stove Prairie by a mile or so it has water running to it on the road on a left handed curve and wet tires and cattle guards don't mix. Shhhessh!
I traveled from Horsetooth to Laport.

After the thirty inches of snow is cleared from the P2P ------- watch out for the six inches of sand that they threw down. You have been warned.

that would suck to see when you come around a corner. snow, sand and rock slides be safe out there for the next week or so
Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.
Uh oh.. there goes the pristine smooth pavement on 7. Have other folks noticed all the potholes around town? Big-assed bike tire swallowing potholes?

I wonder what ptp south of ned will be like? I got my balls shoved into my stomach more than once on that strech, it's probably not any better this year.
Took a jaunt down to Penrose on 115 from CO Springs Sunday. Beautiful day. State Patrol out in force on the way back.
Lower Dear Creek: Suprisingly clean considering the past storm, mild sand in spots but not bad.
High Grade Road: Don't even bother, heavy sand, road damage, busted pine trees down everywhere.
Be assured that a walk through the ocean of most souls would scarcely get your feet wet.
CO 72 (Coal Creek Canyon)
Clean without sand pretty much between CO 93 and P2P (CO 119). However, there is buckets of water flowing across the road in numerous places and 3 to 4 foot piles of snow from Crescent Drive through Pinecliffe.CO 119 P2P from CO 72 to Nederland
Fairly unremarkable except for the tight curves coming into Ned from the south.CO 119 Boulder Canyon
Clean until the dam. The hill eastbound from the dam is full of sand and around 3 inches of water across both lanes. It dissipates at the bottom of the hill. The remainder of the ride is fairly clean and very little water runoff. It is advisable not to wear mesh gear up there as you cannot turn off the air conditioning.

N_N, how were the switchbacks halfway up Coal Creek? When I was up a few days ago there was ridiculous sand in the switches.

the front side of flagstaff is pretty clean. The backside is terrible
285 South from Denver to Fairplay: clean. (With a little runoff water here and there)
Conifer to Evergreen: very minor sand, some light construction.
Bear Creek canyon Morrison to Evergreen: Clean in most spots with light sand arounf Kitridge and near the Gates summer house.
Be assured that a walk through the ocean of most souls would scarcely get your feet wet.
Pinewood sandy in a bunch of places, mostly in the center of the road.

Hwy 550 from Silverton to Durango is looking pretty good...the first 6 miles outta Silverton are pretty rough from the plowing, but the new pavement they put down last summer is looking good...will be able to tell ya about Red Mtn after this weekend.
Estes Park loop(up 34/36 and down 7) is clean with very little runoff at the top of 7.
