    Re: 1,500 miles/36 hours

The TL is rinning again. Now it is time to start planning the trip again. As of right now I am thinking about June 25 & 26, that way Will can ride along also. Might look into other routes. I talked to my brother yesterday and he said that we will be welcome to stay at his place if we keep the same route as before. If we don't, he might come to CO and ride along with. Let me know what you guys think.

    Re: 1,500 miles/36 hours

    Wade,

I'm VERY questionable at this point. I'll be burning the candle at both ends right up until June 22 (final exam and final project due at school). Knowing that I may sleep thru that entire next weekend, I think a long distance ride is probably not a safe idea.

Don't plan around me. MAKE A PLAN and I'll make it if it works out.

    Cheers! Ride safe!

No problem. I am waiting for my wife tio get here work schedule for June to find out what Saturdays she will have to work. I will be going on a weekend when she isn't working so we won't have to find a babysitter for our son during that Saturday morning.

Will or Henry, do either of you have a program that would map the route to submit for the cert?

June 25-26 is the weekend I"m planning this ride for. My wife has to work the next two weekends and the 18-19 I want to spend with my family for Father's Day. I'm still planning on the same route.

    Who's going?

If you can go, good. If you can't, I understand. If it is a last minute decision that is fine. I won't plan on you going and if you do get to go that would be great.

I think I'm gonna cahnge this trip back to 1000/24. This way it will be cheaper and then I can go to the dyno day at Twin Peaks on Sunday. I will post the route in a couple of days.

For anybody that is still interested, here is the plan. 1000 miles is 24 hours. Starting point at the BP by my house to Omaha, NE and back. Roughly 1040 miles. Probably stop by my brother's place to visit for a little while and get a bite to eat. Leave around 6AM June 25th and be back that night. If anybody else is going let me know ASAP.

I didn't get to go. I had to go to a funeral in Kansas for my wife's grandmother. Didn't get back until last night. I am still palnning to do this ride but don't know when for sure. Yet me know when you'll have a chance,Will, and maybe we can work something out.

    Re: 1,000 miles/24 hours/June 25th

    Wade,

I could possibly do something on either July 9th or 10th. School starts back up again on the 13th, so after that, I can only play it by ear, with last minute decisions.

    Cheers,
    Will

I wo'nt get a chance again until mid August at the eariliest. Need to finish my yard work starting next weekend. That will take a couple of weekends. My son's B-day is the first of August, so I know I can't get away until after that. I my wait until the temps cool down so I don't sweat my ass off for 1000-1500 miles.
