    Places to camp

My saddle bags are a coming So in the vain of my other thread, Where are some good spots to camp?

Here's what I'm looking for. No water, hookups, showers etc. Prefer if it was a little secluded from life. Not on a main road, but possible with an adventurous sportbike rider. In Colorado, southern Wyoming or northern New Mexico. So if you have some, post up some details please.

    1. Go down the dirt rd and there is camping on the left hand side. I stayed about 8 miles down the rd on one of the little side paths next to a river.

    2. Right by Buena Vista. A bunch of camping the further you go back. I always look a right at the split. Not to many people and some good views of the mtns.

Try this website for New Mexico camping:

I found one secluded campground with the features you want:

I love Northern New Mexico. Haven't been there in years. The last time I actually camped there (yes, I slept on the hard ground) was when I was 3 months pregnant with my first child...that was about 20 years ago (dayum...I'm friggen old!). Anyhoo, we found the area around the Red River to be absolutely beautiful. There's lots of places to get pretty lost without trying too hard.

Geneva Basin (Guinella Pass) has some campsites pretty much right as you get off paved road. Those should be manageable on a sport bike.

Link Guess I should also mention that you probably won't want to go up there until late May, if not June. Gets a little chilly in the Basin at night

That looks great! Thanks! Yeah, I'd love to head down there via backroads for a night or two and get me some tasty green chilly.

Nothing wrong with a little impromptu R6 dual sporting activities
