    Is I-25 just as packed going South, during rush hour? I try to avoid it, so I'm not sure what the traffic patterns are like.

    Ya it usually sucks...but cant really be avoided.

    Ya traffic is bad enough without the lights. At least Santa Fe has the HOV lane most of the way.

    Having done the Federal route a few times I can tell you it is busy. I think it's pretty much a wash.

    Yeah, didn't consider the HOV lanes. . . .too used to driving by myself and can't use 'em.

    !-25 is a parking lot that time of day. Personally, I'd take the 470 route...

    ...with the understanding that it's slightly less of a parking lot.
