    Breck ride pix

So, Terri was bugging me yesterday in a thread about riding together again. We hadn't ridden for a while...like since last year, I think.

Anyhoo, I gave her a couple of routes to think about. She chose the one to ride up to Breckenridge Brewery in Breckenridge. It included (thanks to Bueller for leading), a few lower canyons...the names escape me. Riding hwy285 to Fairplay. A jaunt up and over Hoosier Pass and down to Brecks. We came back by taking Loveland Pass (o...m...g...what a freakin amazing pass!). I haven't ridden that road on the bike, so it was new to me...nice road. Then we hit I70 for a tad bit. Had trouble with one of our group who ran out of gas on the side of I70. Some really nice guys in a truck, pulling a dirt bike stopped and siphoned the gas out of their dirt bike, so we could make it to Idaho Springs.

Then we split. Me and Jeff and Daniel took CCRaceway to P2P and all the way to Lyons, via hwy7. All told...I put on 318 miles R-T on my bike and all from Terri teasing me yesterday....ha! Thanks, girlie!

    Some photos...

Jeff and Daniel took me down by the river...rawr...

Ok, so I know more people got some shots today. Post 'em up guys. Let's have a look-see.

Nice pics... sorry I wasn't able to catch you all today.

We did Willow Creek, Berthoud, and Loveland passes yesterday... all great roads.

Next time, James. I love those passes, too. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself at any rate. Nothing like an amazing weather day, great friends and twisting roads to make your weekend just right.

BTW, 125 north has several miles of brand spankin' new asphalt heading up to the pass...

Beautiful yesterday and today... Friday on the other hand, well, we did about 130 miles in the rain. I still had fun!

Fun ride for sure, big group but stayed together well. It is easy to lead, hard part is the sweep, Rhino did a great job of bringing up the back, made it easy on me.
Especially good to ride with the Kansas connection again.

Sorry sweetie. I probably wouldn't have been very good company...I was kinda at the end of my endurance for the day. Made it home. Loaded pix. Made dinner. Picked up my daughter from work. And proceeded to pass out on the chair in the living room. Ah, but what a fun way to wear yourself out...only one other thing can top that.

Denise and I would like to thank you all for letting us play in the mountains with you all. It was really hard for her and I to go back to Kansas. We love Colorado and can't wait to return. hopefully we will see you all the next time we come up there.
