This ride will be going over that very Pass/Road.
It just depends on which way we do the loop,
Independance Pass first or Monarch Pass.
I prefer to go up Monarch from the west as it is two lanes and better sorted for sportbikes, but I also prefer to go up BlackCanyon as well,
    which way, decisions,decisions.......

Ok, the door is being shut on this one. The group this year
is very dirversified and enthusiastic. It looks like it is shaping up to be one of those epic rides that will be filed under great in the memory books.
If you haven't PM'ed me by this writing you are out. Sorry, there is always next year. I have PM'ed everybody going on this one so you should know where to meet. Check you tire pressures and I will see you'all on the 4th.

    D'oh!
Just saw this thread. Oh well, ya snooze....etc.etc.
Would have been 2-up more than likely anyways, so this might not have been the ride for that.
Post up (or PM) the route. If I/we are out riding maybe we can cross paths for the lunch break.
(Oh wait, it's a Southie ride, no lunch due to Meth consumption right?)

    Have fun and be safe.

    Re: Firecracker 500

Jeff if you want to go just say the word.
Our group is very difersified this year and all are welcome.
A ex250 was coming but decided to hang out in Oregon instead, so 2 up will not be a problem.

Whining is a problem, as well is complaning.

This is a ride to have fun so I doubt any will do the above mentioned, till later in the day when thier butts/hands are numb.

    Coolies Mr. Bash,
I'll check with the girlie and see what the plans are.
If she gives me a pass or wants to ride with I might just hook up with N_Ninja for the ride down.

Either way, sounds like you'll have a great run.
(Just watch out for the Torista's.)

    Ok peeps,
Take a few minutes today to go look over your bike.
First and most inportant are your tires, and your pressures.
Is your chain adjusted correctly and lubed?
How about the rest of the bike. Is it ready for and all dayer?

You should be drinking plenty of water today and resting.
See you'all fisrt thing in the morning at the meet spot.
Be gassed up and ready to roll by 7 AM.
    Thanks,

    Bash

Are you excluding shafties, hoverbikes and magnetic induction bikes?
I'm taking the GS, but no one better crash this time. Passenger seat's taken.
