Ah, organized sports... I remember those - from a time before I had kids... lately I barely have time to fit in a workout in my basement! Maybe that means I should pay attention to this thread to see where it leads?

I will play any sport in a pickup game. Don't have the wind for soccer or football but that doesn't stop me.

Flag Football!! My apartment complex is actually trying to start a league. Seriously. I thought it'd be a blast. There's been some talk about volleyball on some past threads. I think if we set a specific day and time each week/month/whenever, we could get something going. Like MetaLord said, it takes work to organize. Why don't you organize something Falcon? See what people are into and roll with it

Jump Street has trampoline Dodgeball on Wednesday nights. Probably get our asses kicked by eight-year-olds though.

I'm in on that next week. I just want to hit teenagers in the face with dodgeballs.

I will join in on a golf outing. Even short notice will work for that. Never seem to plan anything else (except riding), but I will make time for a round.

Falcon did a great job of organizing an event and sending out the invites, but not enough people were intersted to pull it off. I guess we're shooting for next Sunday now? Please give him your email if you haven't done so already if you are interested. I'd love to ask for the time off work to play since I never get to, but if it's gonna be canceled again from people not responding I may as well work and make some money.

I was thinking we could meet somewhere play voleyball and have some fun. Any ideas?

I'm down for some volleyball, basketball, golf (9 hole as my irons are good, the drivers are not), frolf (frisbee golf - I play 100+ rounds a year), etc. I'm down for just about any sport

Re: Sooo, anybody here into playing sports?

the problem with all the above mentioned sports is that all of them require merely ONE BALL.
my sport (motorbike riding) requires TWO BALLS!! the bigger, the better.

outside of this I enjoy fierce sessions of pocket pool until the next time I ride which coincidentaly also requires two balls.

    have a nice day
