I felt like I was becoming too dependent on "available light", and not experimenting enough with other avenues of creativity. This was laziness due to my comfort level with natural light shots; I just didn't want to learn something new. So I really had to force myself to acquire studio gear. I am actually shopping for a macro studio setup this days. got a macro lens this Christmas and want to get the light box and some lights. won't take much space....
