    Nice shots!

Just a tip, try tungsten white balance next (or swap it in Lightroom if you shot RAW; somewhere from 2850k to 4k should look "right"). It makes the night landscape look a little more like "night".

brushed some dust of the cam and whipped a couple of my nicer watches out.

Spent a hour or so shooting and editing in lightroom. I really need to find more time to learn more about "proper" photography and keep teaching myself lightroom!!

    Thoughts/critiques?

    Great start! Thanks for sharing.

My 2-cents... invest in a cheap tripod, a cheapo bulb trigger, and a flashlight (all of which can be had for under $50 combined), and read Alex Koloskov's tutorial on light painting for products...

    http://www.pixiq.com/article/light-p...ct-photography

You will minimize the glare issues, and really control every aspect of the light that illuminates your product.

    wootsy!

Love the read! I went ahead and tried to implement those techniques this morning.

Took me quite sometime to start figuring it out.

Here are a few shots i did with that technique. Am I doing it right??

Some teaser shots from Raven & Dan's wedding on Saturday:

    Sadly...
On the ride back down from the ceremony site there was a rider who participated in the convoy up struck by moronic driver in or immediately around Estes Park. Last I heard he was in the hospital, conscious and recovering, but pretty banged up.

That's a shoot I'd love to do - been wanting to for some time... but I'm on hiatus for the next few months from non-paying gigs unfortunately.

My company did a pretty cool event recently involving fast cars and jets. I helped coordinate the event but I brought my camera because I knew there would be some great opportunities to take pictures.

Here are the 4 decent ones I got.
