    Torrance, CA: American Honda Motor Company's Powersports Division announced to its dealers today the release of an all-new motorcycle designed for those entering the sport of motorcycling, one that's sporty, fun, lightweight and affordable: the CBR250R.
    "This is really an amazing machine we're adding to Honda's list of models for 2011," said Powersports Press Manager Bill Savino. "The CBR250R is specifically aimed at new riders, yet it's packed full of high-tech features and offers great performance, all in a lightweight, affordable package. This new model expands another segment of the market for Honda buyers."

    Yep this has made the rounds, the debate is whether or not this will be legal in the MRA's "Ninja Cup".

    with a seat height almost 2 inches lower than the CBR600 it will be the perfect chick bike for Honda lovers

    I think it will still be legal for LWGP, Colorado and Sportsman It would be interesting to see someone run it and compare lap times with the Ninjette.

    just as the ninja is legal for those classes and LW Endurance, they are sorely outclassed by the bikes generally run in those classes, the only class they can hope to be competitive in would be a 250 (spec) class, but as the stock(ish) Kawi is the spec, they would need to come up with an inclusion for this bike. It is underpowered compared to the Ninja but it is fuel injected.
    There is someone talking about bringing a couple out next year if they are included.

    Wow, great to see them making 250's look like legit motorcycles. I think that's a sweet looking bike.
