On board with Michael Dunlop - irish roadracing

My buddy posted on another forum. It is extremely crazy so I wanted to post here.

At around 1:25 he gets into some rough patches, then the jumps where you hear his motor spin up. .. BALLS! Big brass ones!

Nice video... I've heard of it, but I've never seen that course before.

Are there protective pads around the light poles? Kind of uneeded, given the speed and all.

Re: On board with Michael Dunlop - irish roadracing

They're cheating, don't you see the traning wheels on their knees?

My wife is from the UK and that could easily be any country road on the big island. That track is actually bigger than the road her parents house is on, but it seems like everybody drives just as fast anyway...

I'll never forget the first time I went over there and people were doing 70+ on little roads like that, roads that literally squeeze so tight traffic has to take turns moving in either direction. It was unnerving at first, but these days all I can think about is how much fun it would be to go back on 2 wheels...
