    http://www.usarm.org/motogp.php

I would suggest you get on it because they say it fills up fast.

do cornerworkers get paid? I can't find anything on the website as to whether this is paid or volunteer and if paid, how much.

Email their webmaster. I wanna say I saw somewhere about $70 but I'm not sure.

I'd pay to be able to do it. This is my big event of the year. Can't wait.

IIRC, they're volunteers, but they treat you pretty well. You have access to the courtesy tent, unlimited food and drinks, a goodie bag, etc.

I'll be out there but I'll be playing, not working.

I go to Indy every year, but like Salsa, I go to play. Aero, several of us on the board go to LS or Indy every year, so you should see posts pop up as the race weekend gets closer.

I don't know of a group thing this year. I know it's been done in the past. I thought about trying to organize something, but I'm not into the whole "herding cats" thing. So, I'm heading out to the GP, then heading north for another week or so.

Last year in Indy was my first GP experience and I need MOAR!!! I'm planning on Cali this summer, but if I can swing it, I'll head for Indy as well. Seeing as how this could be the last year for them.

It's an awesome experience! I've always sat on the grass in the infield, near T5 and the sound the bikes make as they come screaming past you is indescribeable!!! The first lap, when there's a dozen bikes within a half second of each other, is the most amazing sound! I really hope they keep it going at Indy

If I make it to Indy again this year, GA is where it's at. I don't think it was that much better having grand stand seating. Especially at Indy with all of the jumbo-trons.

Yes, if I go, it would also be to play.

I'll keep my eyes open on the board and decide later if I want to tag along.

If I go I would rather play. At Laguna we got to roam all around the track for different vantage points. The nice thing about Monterey is that you can get close to the track without cornerworking. There are spots all over that you are pretty much right next to the fencing. I don't think I would get a grandstand seat if I went to Indy. ZZZZZ

That's exactly where my "seats" are at Indy. Yeah, it's out in the sun, and last year it was H O T!!!!!, and you're sitting on a blanket in the grass, but the videos I posted two years ago show how good of a view I have.

Post up when you figure it out. If the money works so it is break even or better I would probably do it. That is might be the weekend for summer semester finals though...

Corner worker at Laguna would be fun for sure but I'm in the "play and not work" group.

We are trying to go back for our 4th Moto GP race at Laguna. Hopefully bring the bikes this year.

Can't wait for Austin. That will be a road trip for sure.

    Re: Cornerworking Motogp 2011

I can definitely see y everyone wants to play rather than work. Either way it's gonna be sick, especially since its my first GP. If working proves to be too much of a pain in the ass compared to club racing, then next year I'll play.
