    Street Boot repair

Ok, the zipper on my A-Stars boot is FUBAR'd. Anyplace around that could fix it? Thinking about contacting A-Stars, but they'd probably just want me to buy another $350 pair. Anyone know of a place?

    Thanks!

Cool! Thanks guys! I'll check 'em out. I LOVE the boots, and they're so expensive, I'd like to get a couple more years out of them, and can, if I can get that fixed.

    Update:
This is awesome, A-Stars is gonna fix it for FREE! All I've got to do is pay for shipping! They said that's part of the deal with buying A-Stars gear. Just for fun, I'll probably send 'em a pic of my "vintage" A-Stars boots I got for x-mas back in '86. They were sold here under the "Fox" name (us FOG's will remember their foray into street gear). With the way I love their gear, and this kind of righteous customer service, I'll never buy anything else. This means a lot to me right now as I'm so dick-broke. Anyways, for anyone that needs it their contact info is:

    Phone number:
    800-438-2577

Of note, they said to send it to:
    Alpinestars

Call 'em. If it's A-Stars gear, they'll most likely do it free (he didn't mention any limitations), and probably even do a better job since they made it in the first place. I was glad to hear this bit of news.

OMG, wow. The zipper pull on my A* jacket broke not 6 months after I got the jacket brand new. I was so pissed, but I've gotten used to it. Maybe I'll give them a call and have them fix it...

That just renewed my love for A* gear. Expensive as it is sometimes, knowing they will fix it, is awesome!!!

Yeah, I was extremely pleased. Man, I was stressing having to pay big $$ I don't have to fix it or worse, buy new ones.

Oh, BTW, on my old Belstaff jacket, my pull broke years ago. I put in one of the rings you use for keys, and I like it better. It's extremely easy to use (you can hook a gloved finger in it), will never break like the normal pull will (cheap zinc casting usually), and cheap. Try it.

Hell yeah! I love their gear, it fits my slightly odd body shape almost perfectly, and had planned to continue buying it anyways, this just seals the deal.
