We (the first group) passed those cops behind a taurus and we were going 34mph. There is no possible way he could have thought that we were speeding. Because we weren't.
Our group got flashed by an oncoming Volvo so we cruised past the two cop cars at 35mph too.Ironic that the "slow" group got pulled over. I guess those Gilpin sheriffs needed something to do.

I was going a whopping 37! Busted!!! The best part was the lecture about the local people and their families with little kids that don't appreciate having to LISTEN to bikes tearing up and down THEIR road. I thought it was our tax revenue that made roads possible, but maybe Gilpen county kids are plated and pay taxes that support the road. when we saw you all pulled over one guy kept walking half way in the lane thought he was gonna wave the last 4 of us over glad that was the only hiccup in today's ride. I want to ride tomorrow damn work... I did more turns today on the ride up to Ned then i think i may have done total in the 800 miles i have put on before this ride. Wish there was a curvier way to work.
