Hey Ock1 let me know when you'd like to go back to IMI. You were looking good out there for your first day, unlike those who were all over the place. Would suggest pacing the course and working on corner entry points - both are things that are good to work on for any bike and any rider.

I wouldn't call them squid even though they pulled up with no gear on at all (it was in the chase car), but since I don't care how you dress to ride I can only hope they don't learn the lesson the hard way.
The one on the yellow R6 was actually getting around pretty good after the 250 caught and passed him, he passed me back up the back straight and then did a decent job of keeping me behind him. He is going to lay that bike down if he pushes it much harder with his poor body position. He had that thing layed over too far from being crossed up.
The other 2 were learning track riding and I didn't notice any problems with their lines except they weren't always a good line, but they were easy to get around.
They were at a track wearing possibly the best gear they own, working on riding in a controlled environment. Doesn't sound too squiddy to me. George you should have liaisoned for us, they coulda been the coolest newest noobs of the CSC.

I was mainly annoyed with the orange guy. I'm not too comfortable yet passing people in the corner, especially since his lines were f---ed so it was sketch to pass while exiting the corners too. Then every time it straightened out he'd pin it and grab serious brake before the next turn.

I blame my leathers for making me look fat
Also, it would appear I got some peg down today.

Lambeau had a friend there in jeans too, but she (like I) was there working with someone and was focused on learning - not trying to push it to shave milliseconds. The guys in question seemed like they were competing with everyone else on the track, checking their mirrors frantically when you'd get behind them, and not focusing on their own lines/abilities.
And the street speed things applies to must of us canyoneers.
Anyway, it was a lovely day and we all had a good time!

Looked on the site for IMI, only thing I could find are prices. Is the road track open everyday? What are the gear requirement, looks pretty lax from the photos? What are the bike requirement?
Thanks
Ryan
Bike requirements: Must be running.
You requirements: Helmet.
Open every day except for planned events like races where the track is rented out.
