Thanks to the corner workers and paramedics for taking care of me after my front brake failed in the worst possible moment.
Going down the hill there was no way I could stop that thing.
Broken colarbone was the result.
Up untill that it was a great day!
Thank you Scott!

I want to take a minute and say "thank you" to everyone who came out and rode yesterday.
Everyone who broke Rule #1 seems to be OK - one will be staying a night or two in the hospital, but should be released on 'good behavior' pretty soon.
I hope that you all had a good time and will join us in 2012
Scott
Dang rule-breakers!
Seriously though, glad they're relatively OK.
The wife and I agreed that getting paid to watch some proper (and a little improper) riding technique was a great way to spend the holiday. Nice meeting those we got a chance to and we'll catch up with more of you next time.

Scott - if you could just keep the temperature cooler like that for future track days that would be perfect.

This whole time, I thought you liked to get fingered?
Yeah, it was Marc. He's at University Hospital. 7 broken ribs and a broken scapula. Just talked to Monica and they are trying to easy the pain with meds right now. Sucks, because there isn't much you can do with broken ribs.
I'm taking a half day off today to do some running around for him, then Kris and I will go see them tonight.

Scott (Rybo), knowing how you are, don't let the rule breakers get you down. Things do happen no matter what you say or how you try and prevent them. I don't think anything could have been done any better for your trackday.
You and Ralph put on a good & safe trackday for everyone, as safe as it can be, it is afterall a racetrack.
I was at turn 4 all day and you guys/gals looked great going through there!!!
Great times scott! It was my first time to HPR and quite a eventful one! Had a blast watching everyone coming in hot into turn 1, and talking to some while I was waiting to send the next groups out. After that day, i realized i need to talk the wife into a track bike, or get rid of the busa and get something more track friendly... Hope i can come out there again soon!

Another awesome Chicane Track Day! Thanks to everyone involved in putting it on! I had a blast learning and getting faster; and seeing everyone else having fun.
Sorry to see a few broken bikes and people, hope everyone heals up and gets back riding quickly. So glad we're all provided with such a top notch safety team. Worth 10x the price of admission as far as I'm concerned.

Just got back from there, he's in good spirits (or was, however when I left the nurse was going to put him on his side, so I am sure his mood changed somewhat). Was anyone behind him when he crashed that could see what happened?
FYI he added a partially collapsed lung to his list of ailments as well, so he'll be there for a few days waiting for that to clear up.

Didn't get your crash but the immediate aftermath.
Applehans comes flying by me before turn 7 and around 9:00 you can see your dust.
