    9/18 Sunday Ride - Alice/St. Mary's Area

Looks like there will be a few of us heading up to ride some of the trails around St. Mary's Glacier/Alice. The cabin is located in the town of Alice about 1 hour from Denver.

Plan on meeting at my cabin around 8:30-9am...time subject to change.

    Who's in so far...
    Dr. Joe
    Sean
    Aracheon
    Ricky
    Aracacat
    60pan (maybe)
    Mike Kuledge (maybe)
    Wade + 1 Maybe

There are 100's of miles of trails around the area, spidering all over, we can reach Rollinsville, Apex, Central City, Needles Eye and even Empire (never done it though)...all trails are less than a mile from the cabin. Range from fairly easy to very tough (baby head boulders & steep). We will be starting at 10,000ft and climbing from there so dress accordingly.

I'll be driving my truck up that morning and can fit one more if needed, I also have a trailer that could hold 4 or 5 bikes maybe even 6 if someone wants to drive everyone up. Just let me know.

Hit me up through PM's or call/text me to verify you can make it/get directions or travel in a caravan.

Bodhizafa's exact words in his last email were, "rip the DRZ up!" So really, I have no choice but to ride the shit out of his bike. Really, it's a moral obligation.

I would like to make this, but unsure if I will be able to yet. If I can, I would probably be bringing Blake along too, so we would be sticking to the easier trails.

    Re: 9/18 Sunday Ride - Alice/St. Mary's Area

I'm tempted. I was thinking of going on a solo 3-day ride this Fri-Sun, but there's a bunch of other life bullshit that I need to take care of. If I did that, I'd def be ready to ride by Sunday. I'd need to borrow some trailer space tho.

    Re: 9/18 Sunday Ride - Alice/St. Mary's Area

    here's a quick route itinerary i'm thinking.

from the cabin we'll ride to fall river res and up to chinn's lake, maybe check out lake lochlomond, then back and up and over james peak, then down kingston trail and from there we can head over to needle's eye/jenny lake, or we can head towards central city and get lost on all those trails. I'll let you guys decide when we get to that point.

all in all we should put in about 30-40 miles, maybe more.

Sounds good to me, I don't know any of the trails. You're leading Travis!

I figured I'd throw a can of gas in the back of the truck just in case.
