For what it's worth, I voiced opposition as well.

Had they not changed it, it wouldn't have affected me in the slightest. I know it's a simple forum setting. That being said, if I want to go seek out glitter slapping, I have google and spare time. I don't need it propagating every thread like viral popup ads. I also think it shows a general lack of respect for other forum members. We joke about this place being a sausage fest. Well, if I were a new female member wandering on to this forum, and all I saw were bouncing asses, do you really think I would take this place seriously? There was talk of labusas.whatever on the other thread... Do you want CSC going down that road? I'd like to think that we, as a community, can hold ourselves to slightly higher standards. For what it's worth, I agree with the decision to remove those signatures. I think they are in bad taste but maybe that's just me.

The point that these signatures popping up and causing a problem, especially at work is valid. That is the reason why some threads are labeled as not safe for work, graphic or spoiler the case of race out comes.

Those threads I'll open up when I'm at home.

I think some of you are missing the point here. There is already a thread on this forum with plenty of T&A. Even this thread is under "Non-bike Discussion". However, if a person is at work checking the forums on their break or during some downtime, they don't have to enter the T&A thread, or this thread. But when a NSFW picture is in the signature, they have no choice but to avoid the forums altogether. In that regard, the admin isn't being the fascist, you are. You have taken any decision to view that material or not away from us. That's just disrespectful to everyone on the forums. The admin's decision to remove the NSFW material opens the forum to be accessible to ALL. I'm not trying to offend anybody, but am asking you to look at it from another perspective besides your own.
