looks very similar what happened yrs ago at hawthorn road in Golden Gate. took 3 of us to get bike out...luckily enuff there was not a car coming the other way on the bend...
Guys I really want to go on this (It'd be my first CSC ride), but I've got a couple questions:
1) I don't have leather pants or boots with me, will I be stripped and beaten and left for dead in a bikini and boxers turned thong if I show up with only gloves/jacket/helmet?
2) Will I be able to keep up? I know my bike can, but I'm not the most aggressive rider in the corners.
3) Will speeds be sane? I already have one reminder from CSP pending.

Ride your own ride...don't try to ride at someone elses pace...the group will wait for you at major intersections on the route.

In other words I'll be left in the dust?
The last guy in the group should be the "sweeper". His role is to ensure that the group stays as one and if anyone breaksdown/crashes he helps them out. The sweeper is typically a more senior/advanced rider but will keep the pace of the last/slowest rider.

There probably won't be a sweeper and these guys will get away from you like you just told em your pregnant with their kid.

I already have a ticket, the roads won't be awesome I do not plan to get too froggy tomorrow you will be just fine. If you want to ride come on out you are more than welcome to!

Too late. THE ONE FUCKING TIME I TAILGATE SOME ASSHOLE IN THE FUCKING FAST LANE. He was passing a car, taking his sweet time doing it and I was impatient. I normally stay far behind every car just because there's so much shit on the roads.
So anyways he runs over a semi-truck retread that had been chucked, and I ran it over. Luckily my bike was fine, just a little squirrely for a second, but it jacked up my belly pan's paint. SO now it's got a couple cracks on it underneath, luckily it's hard to tell.
Just watch for possible slick spots in the shade, still lots of snow up here in Genesee / Evergreen on the grass and runoff in some corners. I'll be out riding and unable to come retrieve anyone from the bushes.. again.

At beu joes in Idaho springs, if you want to go on squaw pass by all means go for it but be advised be prepared to ride in snow, ice and gravel!!! Slow speeds no cars and an epic fucking ride. This video is going be very interesting to say at the very least.
