I remember driving by the Qatar track, seeing no one there and thinking how fun it would be to do some laps in our rental car.

"Repsol Honda's Pedrosa had the disinction of becoming the first MotoGP rider to crash this season. The Spaniard crashed very early in the session when he lost the front end in the right-hand turn nine kink. After a change of leathers, he went back out and made a late march up the leaderboard, finishing sixth fastest."

.....to get rid of the skid-marks on the OUTSIDE, or the INSIDE of the leathers?

Man, 3 seconds a lap down for the CRT teams? And I think the MotoGP bikes will get a lot faster as the season wears on, whereas the CRT teams will probably only get a little faster. Cubic $$ and the fact that you can dial in the MotoGP bikes more finely.

So... when you look at the coverage they are braking so hard that their rotors are glowing. Maybe it is just visible at night or .... ummmm ceramic rotors?
