Deckers n00b ride and Tshirt run MoCo KSU 11AM Sat 7/14

Ok, so I want my tshirt that says TWT HPH with the CSC logo on the front so going to Deckers to get my shirt. There is a motorcycle shop in Deckers and the owner prints shirts as well. He has the CSC logo and will make shirts to order and is planning on keeping a few in stock for purchase.

This will be a n00b friendly ride. I know 11AM is kinda late but my plane doesn't get in until 10AM so I'll be diving off the plane and on my bike to come do this.

    Meet at Moco. KSU 11AM.

I will know on Saturday but the other shirts in his shop were reasonably priced. $15 for a shirt with his logo on it etc.

My saturday just free'd up and I want to go to Deckers. I am a newb, only 2 runs in my bucket, will it be already for me to ride with you? 11am is perfect for me! I'm not slow I can keep up fine.

What is the route you were thinking of going (470 to Santa Fe to 67) or (285 to Pine Junction and down). Reason I ask is because I was thinking part of 67 was not fully paved so I want to avoid that! Let me know and I will see if I can get 2 more bikers into thr group for this run!

Usually the route to deckers is MOCO meet/bear creek/permalie gulch/285/pine junct/etc. at least most group rides I've been on thats what we've done.

Not all of us are as cool as you drz folks lol! Honestly 4 miles of dirt is not bad on a sportbike. Just have to be cautious and ale it easy. Paved roads for abvious reasons are a bit more fun on a sport bike though lol!

67 is for sumo fags. So is it true they "paved" platte river road? I heard the road past the Bucksnort is now compacted crushed asphalt?

I rode the 929 on that a handful of times, both up and down. Its not that bad. Gatdaym

Rode Elk Creek (bucksnort road) yesterday. I was pretty damn clean compared to what I have seen other years. Definitely doable on a sportbike save for a few dirty stretches. I'm not sure it was 'paved', as it already had underlying asphalt, but the dry winter definitely helped keep it from looking like that stretch of 67 between Spruce and Foxton. The weekend rains definitely pulled a few areas of runoff across the road, but nothing you couldn't see coming a few hundred feet away. Probably wouldn't blast that road on a sportbike anyway.

I have no issue riding with the drz's fags on dirt roads on my low yield Buell, I even took an R1 up that at some entertaining speeds. The best part though is riding 2 up scaring the shit outta my wife
