    Re: New FOG sport bike

I picked up another Italian FOG bike this weekend.

72 Guzzi Eldorado. This one needs a little work but not much. I have started with much worse in the past.

That is my cousin's dream bike, and they still hold good value and are hard to find in good condition and that thing looks great! Congrats!

The Honda and Guzzi are both sweet. Guess that makes me a FOG.

Those are both beautiful bikes! I love older bikes, they are very special. I am a hopeless romantic for nostalgia!

Are there any old/classic bike shows or meets around the front range this summer??

Come to GB fish and chips on sheridan the first Thursday of the month for a pretty decent vintage turn out. Next Thursday it happens again.

I would love to make that some time but work schedule prevents it. Why can't they have functions on the weekend.

    Oops I did it again.

The Guzzi Eldorado got sold and the replacement is a new bike with vintage appeal. Is it a race bike? NO WAY. But it is a blast to ride, comfortable, handles great, has adequate power, and I could not get over the looks.

    Re: New FOG sport bike

I guess I need to update the FOG sport bike collection. Sold the Guzzi Eldorado and picked up an old Brit favorite of mine. The PO started the restoration and did quite a lot of good things, some not so good things, and some things completely overlooked. But it is in much better shape than my last Norton was. He stopped working on it in 2003 so it has been sitting for 10 years. All torn down in the garage now but it will be back on the road in a couple of months and ripping up the roads in true FOG fashion.

Awesome, I was eying a 74 CL360 the other day but I don't need a project right now, as much as I want one.

It is bolted down REAL good The Baxley chock works great as I can load bikes and they will sit there all by themselves while I tie them down.

    Re: New FOG sport bike

Doing great! We moved to Florida and semi-retired late last year. I'm riding the track more than the street at this point. Riding the streets are different down here in the land of straight and flat. We are still doing a trip to the Gap every year. A few of the old North Central guys are still making the trip. Good to see you are getting your collection back up to a normal LOMAX number Hope everything is going well!
