2013 bike rumors

An EPA document released seems to point to several new models that might strike interest, especially for fans of team green.

It does not list a 249cc Ninja 250, but instead a 296cc Ninja 300, and a 399cc Ninja 400R. To round out the new models it appears to list a 636cc ZX-6 too.

Other interesting tidbits. MV lists the F3 Serie Oro, and Suzuki lists both a GSX-R1000 and a GSX-R1000Z, wonder what that's about. And where is the VFR 1200 Interceptor for Honda??

Based on info in the Young Machine forum (none of it is confirmed or offical) re-designed engine with ~195bph at the rear wheel, BPF, ABS, updated traction control, wet weight down ~3.5kg. A "RR" version is being considered with no further info. Generally the YM forum is pretty good about info but none of it is confirmed.

This may not be a complete list. I don't see the CBR 600 listed either, for example.

i thought honda said no new engine or skins this year

Not quite, but mostly unchanged since 2007 with emissions tweaks and slightly different side panels from 2009 on.

CBR1000RR essentially the same since 2008 with minor tweaks in 2012.

2011 should have been a new 600, 2012 the new 1000...
