    Fall Colors Saturday

I'm hoping to get my fiance out to see some good fall colors for the first time this weekend. I probably can commit to being out 4-6 hours including gas and lunch stops.

    Suggestions on routes?

If you want to join no sweat, we need to be back in SE Denver by 4, and we'll be at a 'relaxed' pace.
What time in the morning are you thinking? I'm going the change the brakes pads on my GF's car and then I'll be available...what do you have in mind for your ride?

depending on the route, leave around 9-10a... backup choice is P2P.

Where are you located? Where do you want to meet?

P2P is one of my favorite spots to see the colors, however take heed so do a lot of cagers and if you hit it at the wrong time it can be miserable.

That's why I'm thinking AM... let them get up later, do their brunch, hopefully I'll be long gone.

It's not exactly crazy for someone looking to join to want an idea of when and where.

You should probably leave the "if you want to join" part out since it appears to be some sweat.

    Lighten up Francis.

    nice...

Suggestion: You could do the I-70 to Copper --> Leadville --> Buena Vista -->285 to Denver loop in 4-6 hours. Some nice scenery.

Or cut it short and take hoosier pass

Or cut it REALLY short and take Guanella pass (if it's still open and you don't mind a little dirt)

Hwy 24 has some great potential for color, and of course, Kenosha pass on 285

Well that's all fine and dandy, but how are you gonna invite people, and you don't have a meeting place? What are you gonna do? Details....Specifics.... Seems like a nub ride anyways.
