So last Sunday I was goin about 45 MPH down Santa Fe here in CO and its a 3 lane one way road on either side. I'm in the far left lane and about 40" ahead of me the car in the center lane throws on his Left turn blinker. I see it and notice that he's still kinda hangin' out in his lane like he's waiting for me to go by since I was going faster than he was. At the next intersection he jams on the brakes and makes a 90 degree left turn through my lane trying to cut me off so he can make the left at the intersection.
Needless to say we connected and me and my passenger went flying off about 40". I don't if we flew over the car, high sided, IDK but I remember the hit and hitting the ground and rolling around. but when I stood up my bike was laying about 5 feet PAST where I stood up so for all I know the bike could have landed on top of me. We were all geared up so road rash was very minimal but I have a screwed up hip thats so sore I can't walk without crutches. First thing I did was make sure my girl was OK, her ankle was sore but that's all and she was out in 2 hours. Spent 8 hours in the ER myself just resting and making sure I was all good then got discharged.
The bastard took off on us but thankfully (kinda) I managed to take out his bumper with the hit and the license plate with it :toocool: so hopefully the cops will nail this bastard to the wall!
The bike is totally destroyed I'm sure but I'll have pictures posted later on when I get it from the impound.
