TFOG Jim BBQ Benefit - Silent Auction - Sunday January 20th NOW AT FAY MEYERS

Have you ever received a 15% CSC discount from TFOG?
Has Jim ever done an Emergency tire change on Saturday for you?
Has Jim let you store your busted whip in his garage for months?
Has Jim kept you safe on the road?
Has Jim ever stayed late at work to get something done for you?

As wonderful as it sounds, owning and operating a motorcycle shop is not easy or as lucrative as it may seem. So why does a guy like Jim work 6 days a week just so we can take our weekends off and ride through the canyons? Because Jim cares more about the motorcycle community than any person I have ever met. Which is why when I heard he went down and has an injury that prevents him from doing his job, I feel like it’s our duty to help him in return for all the times he has helped us. With an injury like he sustained, it will be some time before he can get back to 100%. This benefit will ensure that TFOG and Jim both can make it through the next couple months while Jim recovers.

    When: Sunday January 20th 2013 | 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
    Where: PENDING: Fay Meyers
What: BBQ lunch ($20 per plate) and silent auction
    Who: Every motorcyclist

It is supposed to be around 50 degrees on Sunday so I urge everyone to ride to show their support.

BBQ will be $20 per plate with every penny going to help Jim along with all money from the silent auction. My wife is a culinary graduate with her master certification on grill so we have the cooking covered, but if you would like to help with food, PM me and I give you a side item to take care of.

    What I need help with?
    • Items for the Auction!!!!!
    • Crock Pots
    • Plates
    • Silverware
    • Napkins
    • Tables
    • Chairs
    • Large Cooler
    • Soft Drinks
    • Bottled Water

Here is a link to a Google Drive document where you can add your name to the attendee list and add what auction item or event help item you will be bringing.

In for this, always down to help and mainly one of our own. I'll bring the water and some soft drinks (sodas/gatorade). If anyone that's in the Littleton/Lakewood area that will be caging it that I can meet up with to drop this off to given that I can't ride with this stuff on me PM me please

Just think about how many times you even see him posting up here, answering every question that he knows the answers to.

In for 2 Mo-Doors. Not sure that I will be able to make it to the shindig but I will work with whoever to get them there.

Anyone heading up from the south or in the Douglas County area let me know and we can meet up.

You know, I really like that even though all the drama and all the bs that goes on here for most of the time, when the hardships come up we put aside our differences and come as one when its most needed

Can't make it on Sunday but am happy to buy a "plate" (or more if I can). I'll look around and see if I can find anything worth while for the auction.

It's a bit of a dichotomy, I feel like I owe Jim for all of his helpfulness in repairs over the years, but then I feel like Jim owes me for being subjected to all of his bad jokes.

Re: TFOG Jim BBQ Benefit - Silent Auction - Sunday January 20th

My paypal address is brad@206racing.com for those of you who would like to purchase a plate but will not be able to attend.

I may list the silent auctions items online as well in case you are interested in something and will not be at the event. I am still working out details on that.

Thanks to everybody who is helping make this happen.
