I just confirmed that we can use the Fay Myers clubhouse. the only thing I dont know yet is time, if there is a rider training class that day the start will have to wait until 1:30

Does that mean we get to take out Apes and Ducs out for test rides too while we wait for food?

I am withdrawing the use of my warehouse, all the other suggestions are going to be a lot warmer.

I may be able to secure a room where I live for little to no price. I'll ask tonight. The room is in golden at the clubhouse where I stay. If you are all into that. They have tables and everything to put the auction stuff on too. Also Foosball, air hockey, pool tables and a hot tub

We are currently waiting to see if there is a class at Fey Meyer. If there is no class, we will plan on using The Clubhouse at Fey. Stand by for more info.

Re: TFOG Jim BBQ Benefit - Silent Auction - Sunday January 20th

Thanks very much for everyone who has contacted me and donated. I am hoping for a goal of $2,000 to help Jim cover overhead costs while he is out and any medical bills that he needs.

It's great to see the motorcycle community come together for someone who has been there for us whenever we needed him. I look forward to seeing everyone there!

BTW my wife has some great plans for the food. Brisket, Pork, and Chicken with 5 different options for BBQ sauce.

    Thank you everyone!

Another update, we are working on finalizing location details for Fay Meyers. I will let everyone know when that is a done deal. Thanks for the patience.

Quick update on Jim. He went home yesterday, and is resting comfortably. The fracture in his his turns out was a chip fracture (GOOD NEWS). His behind is still not all sewn shut, but is ambling around his house now.

I'm sure he'll be on the forums and appreciating all the good vibes!

And someone said he was using a walker. It was so hard to bite my tongue. I just couldn't virtually kick a man when he's down. FOG/using a walker/busted ass/bad TFOG humor/and of course his patent hairdo: soon as he's back and doing well, we need a thread dedicated to Jim jokes.

I used my Mashup list on CSC to post on FB as well. If Fay Myers falls through, please let me know. I have a backup.

Honestly, I figured he'd be on a walker like 20 years ago.

You mean when he turned 85?

Are they going to change the business name to TFOBG (Two Fat, Old, Broken Guys)?

Are they going to have stop promising "fast" service?

I wonder if he'll need a butt pillow like Bertha had...

Somebody needs to cue up Rump Shaker at this benefit lunch in case Jim walks in...
